More things to be outraged about - in Ethiopia, rare lions at the Lion Zoo are being poisoned and sent to taxidermists because the zoo can't afford to keep them. "These animals are the pride of our country," Muhedin Abdulaziz of the Lion Zoo told The Associated Press. "But our only alternative right now is to send them to the taxidermist."

A great example of where an eye-for-an-eye would be appropriate in dealing with animal abusers. A man places his wife's puppy in a 200 degree Fahrenheit oven for 5 minutes, permanently crippling it. Sounds like he could use some time in the oven to get used to what it will feel like when he's burning in the fiery depths of hell.
